Gianluca: hotel operations context

He reads the problem from front desk, management and day-to-day operations perspective. He helps strip away noise and turn real friction into simple workflows that staff can actually use.

Giovanni: backend, integrations and delivery

He ties together technical architecture, application logic and the links with systems already in use. He works on backend, integrations and product structure so the final tool is stable and operational.

The story behind Hotel Tech Italia

Almost 9 years in hotels. Then we stopped tolerating it and built the solution.

Sep 2012 – Aug 2014

Receptionist — Hotel XX Settembre Roma

First direct contact with front desk operations: check-in, check-out, OTA management, housekeeping coordination. The manual workflows that cost hours every day.

May 2015 – Mar 2022

Receptionist & Concierge — Hotel Savoy Rome (100+ rooms)

Nearly 7 years of daily operations on Protel PMS. OTA management, walk-ins, morning reconciliations, weekly reports. Lived every inefficiency that Hotel Tech Italia solves today.

Developer — then Hotel Tech Italia

After years in hotel, Gianluca moves into software development. With Giovanni, builds the operational tools he wished he'd had during those years at the front desk.

We don't start from theory. We know which tasks waste your time because we did them ourselves, for years, on 8-hour shifts.

We chose to work exclusively with hospitality because we know the sector. We know what a PMS is, how OTAs work, what happens at check-in and why Monday morning's report is always late. We don't need to start from scratch every time.
